Angel Inn House
DESCRIPTION
Angel Inn House is an old farmhouse which was extended 20 years ago and refurbished in 2007. We have three very comfortable bedrooms and the house works well for guests travelling on their own, with the family or in a group of friends.
The House is an ideal base for visiting and exploring the historic city of York, the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors and Coast. We are just off the A19, the main York to Thirsk road, close to the village of Tollerton and the Georgian market town of Easingwold.
Our three B & B guest bedrooms, all with en-suites, are on the first floor of the house and overlook neighbouring fields.
We use locally sourced produce on the breakfast menu whenever we can and are happy to meet any special dietary requirements given notice. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at a selection of restaurants and pubs only a short drive from the house. You can plan your days with maps, leaflets or your laptop – sitting downstairs overlooking the garden or, weather permitting, in the garden! Local Information
Angel Inn House is only a mile away from the village of Tollerton which has a post office, an award winning village shop, two pubs and a Chinese restaurant and takeaway. Easingwold, a Georgian market town, is only four miles up the road. Shopping in Easingwold is a delight and you don’t even have to pay to park! It has antique and speciality food shops in abundance, gift and clothes shops, tearooms, banks and a Friday market held in the cobbled square.
Getting around
Angel Inn House is just off the A19. Going north to Thirsk you can turn off and visit Helmsley, Northallerton, Bedale and Ripon. Head south and you can be in York within 15 minutes or stop off at Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride on the way and park for free. There are also regular buses travelling between Easingwold and York through Tollerton
