Redwood Park
Redwood Park is located 11 miles from the centre of York City and just 3 miles from Easingwold, just off the A19. It is a recreational location dedicated to providing quality fishing and a place for the local community and visitors to enjoy a beautiful scenic experience.
Their dedication to the sport of angling has lead them to the creation of the Redwood Park project, which consists of 2 fishing lakes. In the future wthey will also provide a wildlife trail including a small pond for local and visiting children to dip nets and observe the pond life close-up, as well as a visitor centre.

Thornton Lodge Farm has a number of now mature lakes stocked with trout - both brown and rainbow to provide excellent sport. Fishing is by fly only, and fish of 3-4lb in weight are regulary taken. There is a fishing lodge on site which can offer you shelter - toilet facilities or just a refreshing hot drink for those long summer evenings.
