Fitness Class Instructor Julie Brown

 

Julie has worked in the Fitness Industry (and at The Galtres Centre) for over 8 years. While much of this time has been spent on the gym floor working with G.P Referrals and Personal Training Julie also teaches many classes at the Centre including Pilates, Legs, Bums and Tums and Senior Keep Fit! She is passionate about getting people "fit for life" no matter what their age or fitness level.


 

Senior Keep Fit - Monday 10.00am - 11.00am.

Seniors enjoying keep fit classes at the Galtres

 

This class is suitable for over 50s who have limited fitness levels. It is a gentle aerobics class alternating with low impact circuits; the class incorporates the use of weights to increase bone density and aerobic exercise to improve cardiovascular fitness. It is a very friendly class where everyone is welcome and tea and coffee is provided at the end!

 Legs, Bums and Tums - Tuesday 10.15am - 11.15am.

Ladies enjoying therir Legs Bums & Tums classes!

 

This class is suitable for all age groups and fitness levels. It is an aerobics class with an aerobic warm up and uses a variety of weight, resistance band and stability ball exercises. Ideal for those wishing to keep in shape or learn new ways of keeping fit.

 

 


 

 Contemporary Body Conditioning - 10.00am - 11.00am.

This is a no nonsense hard work out which includes running, power walking, boxing and kicking. Making use of free-weights and barbells it is a good class for those who have a solid level of fitness already. This class will work muscles you didn't even know that you had!
