VISIT Easingwold- Yorkshire at its best

The Abbey Inn

DESCRIPTION

one of the dining rooms at the Abbey Inn Nestling at the foot of the Hambleton Hills, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and surrounded by views across open countryside and the ruins of Byland Abbey, The Abbey Inn is quite simply the very best that Yorkshire has to offer.

The Inn itself is steeped in history with evidence of a medieval hostelry under the foundations. It sits quietly nestled at the foot of the rolling Hills of Hambleton in the company of the historic Byland Abbey while the beautiful stonework was ‘borrowed’ from it's ruins.

Once a 19th century farmhouse, the Inn has recently been lovingly refurbished and furnished to reflect its history and is now run by Mel & TJ Drew, formerly of the award winning Appletree at Marton.

With three intimately and individually decorated bedrooms to chose from and a rustic, warm welcome in the Restaurant  you could say, we've been offering great hospitality for hundreds of years! We look forward to welcoming you!
