Class Content
Classes usually begin with a short relaxation; gentle overall stretches to warm muscles and joints, working into postures. Variations are given on postures to suit everyone's level of ability and students are encouraged to work within their own limits. Strength work includes core stability and strengthening large muscles groups. Breath awareness is taught with variations each session to suit everyone. A short period of relaxation finishes the session.
Classes are suitable for ages over 16 upwards and for most levels of ability.
Yoga cleverly combines physical exercise with breath awareness and relaxation techniques. This can help to increase strength and flexibility and help relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety.

It's a fact
Like many local villages, Easingwold grew out of two completely separate settlements, one Viking and one of Saxon origin, located to the north and south of a common market square.
